Dancer/Choreographer/Teacher
Biog
David is a performer, choreographer and teacher. Born in Wales, UK, where he studied dance and drama before gaining a BA in Contemporary Dance and Choreography at London Contemporary Dance School leading to further training with 4D, LCDS’ post graduate performing and touring company.
Since 1995 he has worked with, among others, Fluid State Dancers, Scottish Dance Theatre, H2 Dance, Kokona Dance and The Flying Gorillas, Dance Umbrella and Psappha.
Opera credits include: English National Opera, The Royal Opera, Glyndebourne, Grange Park, Covent Garden Festival and Mid Wales Opera.
TV/Commercial credits include: Shakespeare in Love, Wives and Daughters, Keen Eddie and The Massive Heads on tour.
Choreographic and assisting credits include: Choreographer for Hansel and Gretel, Woodhouse Opera, Choreographer/Movement Director for Susannah, Hampstead Garden Opera and Assistant Director/Movement Director for Orpheus and Euridice, Blackheath Halls.
David teaches and choreographs on a freelance basis.
